Mr. Lorne “Pat” McMath of Chatham passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday January 13th, 2014 in his 82nd year.  Cherished son of the late Russell and Edna McMath.  Beloved husband of Lillian “Bunny” (Konecny).  Loving father of Debbie McMath of Chatham, Gail McMath of Toronto, and Darrell and his wife Debbie of Southampton.  He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Courtney St. John and her husband Michael Beecroft, Jeff Maxwell and his partner Rudilyn Camarillo.  Dear brother of Edmond “Butch” and his wife Mary Catherine, the late Charles “Chuck” and his wife Betty, the late David and his wife Joanne McMath, and the late Leonard, the late Rosabelle Mullay and her late husband Frank, and the late Margaret McMath.  Brother-in-law of Frances Kacer and her friend Karol Tyc, Gloria Konecny, and the late James Konecny.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Pat will be missed by all that knew him.  He was a member of Blessed Sacrament.  Pat and Lillian loved God, and enjoyed their travelling to the Czech Republic and in their younger years to Las Vegas many times.  Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Friday January 17th visiting from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Ave., Chatham, on Saturday January 18th at 10 a.m.. with Father Daniel Bombardier celebrant.  Interment  St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Chatham.  Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Blessed Sacrament Parish Capital Stewardship Campaign Fund and the Chatham-Kent Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.  On-line condolences may be left at http://alexanderfuneralhome.ca
