web_McKinnon, Margaret NEWIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Margaret (Margie) Mary McKinnon on May 31, 2014. Born Christmas Day 1921. Margaret passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the age of 92 to be with her Lord. Beloved wife of the late Angus (Gus) McKinnon (1973). Loving mother of son Bill (Louise) daughter Mary-Jo (Harold) and grandmother to Corey, Emily and Alexander. (Gi Gi) to Natalie & Ryan. Margie was the last surviving McLean sister. Predeceased by sisters Marie McLean, Patricia Doyle, Carmie Burke, Ruth Kyte and Josie Robertson. Special Aunt to Pat (Wayne) Fields, Lynn (Larry) Blain, The MacKinnon family as well as several nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia, the U.S. and Canada. Special friend to Sheila & Dale Hill of Farmington Hills. Thank you to the many friends and family who supported our mother over the years. Margie worked in the data processing department of Chrysler for 35 years and was a member of the Chrysler Girls Club. Margie was an active church member at St. John Vianney Parish. She will be deeply missed around the family gatherings as well as at the euchre table. If you so desire, donations to Downtown Mission or the charity of your choice. Visiting Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Wednesday, friends are invited to join the family after 10:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe St.) followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
