After a long debilitating struggle with dementia, it is with sadness that we announce the passing of Isabel in her 80th year, at The Westbury LTC., Toronto, on Saturday February 11th, 2012. She is survived by her loving son, Mark. Isabel was born in Dunfermline, Scotland, but grew up in Culross, before immigrating to Canada in 1954 with her best friend Jessie McCann. Her career with Air Canada was a long and successful one, before retiring in 1991. Her new found leisure time afforded her more travelling, sleeping-in, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Isabel’s outgoing, friendly personality touched all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., (between Islington & Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Saturday, February 25th from 1:00 ~ 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.  Messages of Condolences may be placed at www.RidleyFuneralHome.com.
