Muriel McFaddenMcFadden: Muriel Louise age 84 of R. R. #7 Dresden passed away Wednesday April 24, 2013 at her residence. Born in Dawn Township daughter of the late Lloyd and Ila (Smith) Bloom. Muriel was a very gifted artist, loved quilting, gardening and  knitting. She was an active member of Lindsay Road United Church. Survived by her husband Morley J. McFadden, children: Shelley James (Glenn) of Guelph, Lisa VanSickle (Pete Provost) of Dresden, Tracy Eves (Mike) of Chatham, Philip McFadden (Jane) of R. R. # 7 Dresden, Marcia Wright (Dan) of Ayr, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren, sisters: Luella Babcock of Dresden (predeceased by Jim), Norma Holmes (Roy) of Thamesville and Beverley Butler (Jim) of Oakdale. Lovingly remembered by the McFadden extended relatives. Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home 620 Cross St. Dresden on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home Saturday April 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Cathy Larmond officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Lindsay Road United Church or Dresden Food Bank may be left by cheque at the funeral home.
