Mrs. Betty Jean McFadden, a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the London Health Science Center “Victoria Campus”, in London at the age of 89 years. She was born in Dresden and a daughter of the late William and Muriel (Hoyles) Babcock. Beloved wife of the late George A. McFadden (2001). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Roxanne (Bill) Murphy and Barry (Linda) McFadden. Dear grandmother of Jeff (Barb) McFadden, Jennifer (Brandon) Owen and Chad (Shelley) Murphy. Dear great grandmother of Chris, Bob, Shoshanah and Kayle. Kind sister and sister-in-law of Mary Lou Sutherland and Lorraine (Dean) MacDonald. Predeceased by 5 sisters and 2 brothers. She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The late Betty McFadden is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11 am from Nicholls Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Gideon Bibles, Heart and Stroke Association or the LHSC “Victoria Campus” Oncology Unit may be left at the funeral home.
