Passed away suddenly at home on November 9, 2013 at 82 years of age. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Hayes) with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage. Dear father of Jack and wife Carol, Debra and husband John McMillan, Sherry and husband Joe Drouillard. Treasured grandfather of Erik, Matthew (Meghan), Jessica, Brittany, Breanne, Justin, and Shania. Loved brother of Betty and husband Vito and the late Jerry, Bob, Kay (Jack), Helen (Dennis), and Jimmie. Brother-in-law of Eleanor, Robin, Peter, Dorothy (Norbert), Tommy (Isabelle), Marilyn (Ted), Fran (Bruce), Gloria, Ron (Maria), Bill (Bea), Joanne, Rose-Claire and the late Leo (Ethel), Julia (Hank), Maxine (Ed), Harold (Kay), Bob, John, Jimmy, Pat, and Helen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John served in the United States Air Force and retired from Chrysler Canada. He was a member of the CAW Local # 444. John enjoyed his time with all of his grandkids, especially by being their personal chauffer. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to join with the family on Tuesday, November 12 from 3-7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hall in Maidstone to share memories about Jack.
