JOHN “JACK” MASSON (May 25, 1923- August 26, 2016) proudly served overseas in WWII in the RCAF Squadron 437, as a Grade A Aircraft Mechanic. After the War, Jack worked 40+ years for the Federal Government. Jack suffered a serious fall that led to his death on August 26, 2016, at age 93.
Dearly missed by his daughter Christine and predeceased by his daughter Leslie (2003). In 2006 his beloved wife June was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Married 66 years but sadly separated the past 3 years due to not being accepted into the same nursing home. Jack was full of adventure, kind and had a passion for nature, dancing and listening to Jazz. His smile and great laughter would light up a room with his sense of humour even during the hardest of times. His biggest pet peeve was most people mispronounced his last name. It is Masson not Mason! A wonderful father, and best friend to his daughter Christine.
