Peacefully on Sunday November 18, 2012 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood in his 75th year.  Bob of Stayner, beloved husband of Linda for over 51 years.  Loving father of Tom and his wife Lynn and Keith.  Cherished grandfather of David, Christopher, Nicole and Lucas.  Dear brother of Shirley Marshall, Jack and his wife Linda, Don and the late Ruth Ann and her late husband Albert Scott..  Bob will be missed by his nieces, nephews and his many friends.  Bob had a varied and fulfilling career as a driver for Dalton R. Lowe Construction, Martin Ready Mix and Trebell Transport but will be remembered most as the Town of Stayner Arena Manager for many years.  Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Wednesday November 21, 2012 from 1 to 2 p.m. and then to the family home from 2 to 4 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held at the Graveside at Stayner Union Cemetery on Friday November 23, 2012 at 11 o’clock. If desired, remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Society, the General & Marine Hospital Foundation or the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Bob’s family.
