MANTO; Marjorie of Hanover

manto-web5Marjorie Manto, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital on Monday, November 30, 2015, in her 82nd year.

Marjorie was born July 1, 1934 in Warwick Township, Lambton County.  Marjorie worked along side her husband Allan, as the proud owners of Manto Warehousing.  She was a member of the Hanover Lion’s Club and then the Walkerton Lion’s Club, the Hanover Hospital Auxiliary and site conservation with C.N.I.B..

Predeceased by her beloved husband Allan in May of 1996. Dear mother of Ron Manto & Jackie of Tiverton, Susan & Doug Schaus of RR #1 Elmwood, Lynda & Darryl Beitz of RR #1 Hanover. Cherished grandmother of  Alayna & Tim Tubman, Ryan Schaus, Meagan & Justin Moorey, Jessica Duguay, Jeremie Duguay, Rebecca Wedow, very special great grandmother of Jackson and Grace Tubman, Mason Schaus and Riley Moorey.  Beloved sister of Doris & Art Eastman of Arkona, Vi & Armond Young of Hanover, Janet & Len Dowhan of Hamilton, Art & Shirley Morley of Chatham, Lloyd Morley & Loretta of Auburn, Blake Morley & Lana of Kelowna B.C., sister-in-law of Grace & Grant Keller of Kitchener, Pete Roslyn of Barrie.  Marjorie was predeceased by her parents George & Helen Morley, parents-in-law Andrew & Caroline (Monk) Manto, brother and sisters-in-law James Maurer, Eldon & Norma Manto, Louis & Marie Weber and Alice Roslyn.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 02, 2015 at 11:00 am, at First St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Hanover. Rev. Robert Clifford officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.
