90 years, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family at Brouillette Manor, Tecumseh on Friday, January 10, 2014. Formerly of Leamington and Mersea Township. Dear and devoted wife of the late Lewis Allan Manchester (2011) for almost 70 years. Loving mother of Margaret Rice and late husband Ralph (1999), Lily Bender and husband Melvin. Dearest grandmother of Steve Rice (Brenda), Debbie Rice-Kelly (Dave), Beth Bender (Jeff), Shelly Brookes (Matthew), Allison Boyko (Damon). Proudest great grandmother of Mason and Abbey Rice, Julia and Alexa Brookes, Michael Boyko. Predeceased by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Luella worked for the H.J. Heinz Company for several years. Luella attended Parkwood Gospel Temple for many years. Luella had a true passion for embroidery, knitting and reading. Special thanks to all the staff at Brouillette Manor for their compassionate care of mom. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Luellas’ life will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. Pastor Mark Hazzard and Pastor Bill Muresan officiating. Interment at Graceland Cemetery, Olinda to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society.
