Anne Newton Maltby (nee Newton) passed away at home on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 after a courageous fight with cancer.  Survived by her husband Charles of Kitchener, her son Mark Warburton and his wife Jacqueline of Shaw, United Kingdom and her grandchildren Lucy Anne and Freya Alice of Shaw, United Kingdom.  Survived by her step daughters Cayley and Shannon Maltby of Kitchener.  Dear daughter-in-law of Richard and Norma Maltby of Kitchener, and sister-in-law of Kathy Boot and Don Myer of Ingersoll, Gail Maltby and Roy Serrador of Tillsonburg, and Richard and Linda Maltby of Cambridge.  Also survived by her aunt Beatrice Howard of Oldham, United Kingdom.  Close friend of Andrew, Amanda, and Krista Heywood of Kitchener.  Close friend of Rachel Quick, Vinny Burns, Nicola Unwin, Danielle Matthews, Andrea Barlow, Sue and Phil Ashcroft, all of the United Kingdom.  Predeceased by her father Fred (2003) and her mother Alice (nee Barlow)(2007).  Special thanks to Dr. Califretti, Dr. Jakda, Dr. Rachakanda, nurses Pat, Linda, Sarah, other nursing staff, and Tracy, all of Grand River Hospital.  Thanks also to Peter Lougheed and Kathy McKnight.  Special thanks to Dr. Sugimoto, Dr. Potvin, Dr. Welch, the nursing staff, as well as Kim Betteridge, all of London Health Sciences Centre.  Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, 7-9 pm.  Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm.  If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated.  Smith-LeRoy, (519) 537-3611.  Personal condolences may be sent at www.smithleroy.com
