Mallon, Desmond webIt is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing October 15, 2013 at the age of 80, of a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Born in 1933 at Carland, County Tyrone, N. Ireland, Des emigrated to Canada in 1957. Loving husband of Mary, who greatly misses him, for 54 years. We will be together again. Loving father to John and Daughter-in-law Cindy. Loving grandfather to Zachary, Braden, Meghan, Noah, Faith, Micaelan, Liam, Owen, Levi, Elias, and Adysson.  Des was an employee of Revenue Canada in Toronto and Ottawa. He retired in 1991 and moved to St. Catharines.  Des could always be counted on for a smile, a laugh, or a kind word.  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. 2 Timothy 4:7
