It is with profound sadness we announce Don’s peaceful passing on May 23, 2018 at the age of 85. Cherished husband, best friend, and team-mate of Carol for 60 years. Proud father of Heather Malcolm-Kiss (Andy), John (Kelly), and Andrew (Kari). Adored Grandpa Don of Alissa, Andrea, Emily, Ryan, Mitchell, Chase, Grant, and Seth. Don will be dearly missed by his sister-in-law Susan, wife of the late Lyle Malcolm (2005), his only brother. Dear brother-in-law of Diane (the late Gord), Dan (the late Marilyn), Bonnie (Roman), Marcia (David), and Kerri (John). Don will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. He was a retiree of Chrysler Canada with 36 years of service. Don was a dedicated member of Rose Lodge No. 500 and also a member of the Scottish Rite and the Moramos Shrine Club. He was a long term Elder and Clerk of Session of Paulin Memorial Church. Sincere thanks to Dr. Chow and the 8th floor nurses and staff of WRH Ouellette Campus for the wonderful care Don received. In lieu of flowers, donations to Paulin Memorial Church or the Scottish Rite Windsor Learning Centre would be appreciated by the family. Visiting on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Masonic Service under the auspices of Rose Lodge No. 500 A. F. & A.
