web_Mailloux, ShirleyIt is with great sorrow that the family of Shirley Mailloux announces her passing on Sept. 8, 2014.  Born on June 27, 1934, she leaves behind her loving husband of 61 yrs., Edgar.  Beloved mother of Jean-Anne and Greg Cecile, Carol and Matt Schulz (California), Ray and Mary Mailloux, Mike and Donna Mailloux and Paul Mailloux (Michigan).  Proud grandmother of Jodi and Cory Cecile, Alexandra and Steven Schulz, Kristoffer Mailloux, Connor, Jaymie and Kevin Mailloux and Jenna, Daniel, Hailey and Natalie Mailloux. Best friend and sister of Arline Marusic.  Also survived by nephews and nieces Joe, Jim, Maria, Caroline and Julia.  Reunited in heaven for eternity with her parents Albert and Jean Goyeau.  Shirley was a member of St. John Vianney Church for over 60 years where she was active in the choir and a member of The Catholic Women’s League, serving in many funeral masses.  She was a member of Life Over 50 (Seniors’ Centre). Shirley was a talented singer and dancer.  She also enjoyed baking, knitting, needlepoint, bowling and her card club.  She was a devoted friend who will be dearly missed, remembered and cherished by those who knew her.  If you so desire, memorial donations to Hospice of Windsor  would be appreciated by the family.  Visiting Wednesday 3-5, 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday 7:30 p.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd.
