Ronald James Maddock, 59, passed away suddenly in his home due to a tragic fall on Thursday, April 4, 2013. Born December 21, 1953, in Windsor, Ontario, he was the son of the late William and Olga Maddock. Ron attended Silverthorn Collegiate Institute, then went on attend the University of Toronto and to study law at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. He was a talented musician, an avid nature enthusiast, and an animal lover who thought the world of his furry, four-legged best friends. He is survived by his two daughters Kylie and her husband James of Newmarket, ON, and Chelsea and her husband Alex, of Toronto, ON, as well as his two beloved grandsons, Ian and Nathan, the children of Kylie and James. He is also survived by his step-mother, Ellen, his siblings Doug (and wife Penny), Tom, and Nancy, and by his nieces and nephews, Lisa, David, and Dan. He is faithfully remembered by his loving partner, Mary Craigen, and by her family. He is also remembered by Krystina, the daughter of Ron’s late wife, Karen Lindsay, and by her family. He is remembered fondly by his families and friends, past and present.
