MacLellan, James B. of Metcalfe Gardens, St. Thomas, passed away on Sunday, July 15th, 2012, at his late residence, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Patricia E. (Gilbert) MacLellan (2010)  and dearly loved father of Gary and his wife Dorothy of Salt Spring Island, B.C., Dan and his wife Arlene of Kirkfield, Ontario and Ken and his wife Karen of St. Thomas. Much loved grandfather of Marcie (Will), Jeni (Andrew), Kelly, Shealagh, Arian, Maggie, Kurt and Connor and great grandfather of Emma, Sebastian  and Fynn.  Predeceased by 3 sisters Theresa, Mary and Helen and by 2 brothers Joseph and Terence. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law of Betty Hogan and Marjorie Schooley. Jim was born in Lebret, Saskatchewan on December 15th, 1925, the son of the late John A. and Nellie (McDonnell) MacLellan. He was a retired Human Relations Clerk with the C.N.R. Jim served during W.W.II and was a member of Branch 41 of the Royal Canadian Legion.  He was a member of Holy Angels and then St. Anne’s Church. He was a former member of Talbot Park Golf Club, the St. Thomas Golf and Country Club, the St. Thomas Curling Club and the Duplicate Bridge Club.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas until Thursday morning and then to St. Anne’s Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in South Park Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Alice Saddy Association.
