Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia, on June 7, 2014, after a courageous battle with Prostate Cancer.  Bruce was in his 82nd year and lived at Aberarder for most of his life, where he farmed until 2010.  He lived at Brookside Retirement Living, Watford, since 2009, where he made many new friends and had many new experiences.  Bruce was a much loved uncle to Susan (Don) Hodgins and Cindy MacKinlay and Dale Hunter, all of London.  Great Uncle to Cassie and Allan Hodgins.  Brother in law to Donna (Ernie) Armitage of Forest.  Predeceased by his brother Allan MacKinlay (1974) and his parents Duncan and Helen MacKinlay.  He was an active member of the St. James Presbyterian Church in Forest as Sunday School Teacher and Elder.  Friends may call at the FOREST CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Tuesday afternoon, June 10, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.  Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm.  Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Joseph’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.  The family would like to thank all the staff at Brookside for 5 years of wonderful care, Dr. Dostaler and St. Joseph’s Hospice for the last weeks.  Online condolences may be left www.denningfuneralhome.com
