LUKEZIC, FrankPassed away at home on November 11, 2013 with his family at his side after a courageous battle against cancer at the age of 70 years.  Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Brousseau) of Garson for over 41 years.  Loving father of Jason, Apryl (Chris Folz) and late Frank Jr.  Dear son of late Franc Sr and late Katarina.  Dear brother of late Zvone (Jozi) and late Martin (late Marica). Frank recently reconnected with his extended family from Slovenia, especially his nephew Klavdij (Renata) whom he met in person several years ago, and his nephew Zvone.  Dear brother-in-law of Bill (Mary) Brousseau of Bracebridge and late Lonnie (late Sue) Brousseau. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Frank moved to Canada from Slovenia in the 1960’s, settled in Garson where he met the love of his life. He retired from Falconbridge Mines with over 30 years of service  and his blue collar “lunch pail” died in a gleefully tragic accident shortly after.  He loved his family, canine buddies, being outdoors and enjoying the wildlife, especially living at camp whenever he could. He was a proud and private man with a “colorful” vocabulary who lived and died the way he wanted.  Message to Dad: You can ask Elvis for a lift if there is room in his caddy as it is too far for you to walk at your age. The show is just about to start and find the rest of us some good seats.  You have nothing left to prove unless you start barbequing steaks for God’s sake and screw your diet as you deserve a break.  Also, don’t tell off any little angels as that won’t make the lines any shorter up there. Patience is a virtue and always be thankful for what you do have. We will remember that too. I can’t hear you Dad?  Louder?  Okay, I might need a sign or something. A tombstone just doesn’t fit you… everyone needs something more like our cherished memories of you.  May God take all the good in you…as we are going to bury the rest… See you soon, until we meet again.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, on Friday, November 15th, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Sudbury.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
