With his family by his side on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at London Health Sciences Centre-University Hospital, Leo Luciantonio passed away at the age of 77. Beloved husband and best friend of Anne. Loving father of Michael (Connie), Barb (Bill) Guilfoyle and Dina (Dave) Howson. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Christopher, Craig, and Daniel (Jen), and great-grandfather of Paris, Brooke and Brody. Dear brother of Gino and his special friend Helen, brother-in-law of Paul Mellon, Larry (the late Mary) Gagnon, Joe (Pauline) Mino, Paul (Marion) Mino, John (Carol) Mino and Liz (Wayne) Teft. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Sebastian and Angela, brother Val (Marg), sisters Anne Mellon and Kay (Jim) McArdle, and sister-in-law Emma Luciantonio. Leo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His greatest joy in life was his family and the time he spent with them. Leo owned and operated L&M Heating and was a sheet metal worker for most of his life. He loved golfing, bocce ball, and family get-togethers. Leo had a great sense of humour and will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, 1011 Oak Ave., Sarnia, with family and friends being received at 9:00 a.m.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to LHSC-University Hospital CSRU or the Heart & Stroke Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
