It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Lowes on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Bluewater Health, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Frank and Queenie Lowes. He is survived by his wife Joan (nee Sheard) and three sons in England: Russell, Brad, and Wayne. Also survived by sister Carol in England. Also leaves behind his son Craig in Toronto, daughter Tracey in Sarnia, step-daughter Beverley in Wallaceburg. Will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Chloe, his four-legged 11 year old pal, misses him terribly. He worked as a mechanical estimator most of his life. His main hobby was playing piano, which he excelled at, and often entertained at the Canadian Legion – Branch 62. He also enjoyed golf.   At David’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no service held. A private burial will take place at a later date. Many thanks to Dr. Maddison, Dr. W.A.C. MacDonald, and to Nancy and Liz.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice by any friends who wish. (cheques only at the funeral home please).
