It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Charles Donald Logan on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the age of 65.  Don is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna (nee Maxwell), his two sons, Chris (Jennifer Thompson) of Toronto and Aaron (Melanie) of Queensville; two cherished grandchildren, Aidan and Owen, his brother Andy (Carolyn) of Madoc, sisters Dorothy Heath (late Frank) of Peterborough and Joanne Wright (Terry) of Belleville, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Charles Redmond and Clementine (nee Hulsman), his sister Josephine McClean (late Doug) and his brother Ron (Jean) of Trenton. He was active in the community with VEMHA-minor hockey, Lions Club and the Coin Club. Don enjoyed the outdoors, the cottage, hunting and fishing. He worked for several years in the forestry division of Domtar and until retirement with AECON in Sudbury. The family invites relatives and friends to share in celebrating Don’s life at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 9 to 11 a.m.  A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.  In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to Valley East Minor Hockey would be greatly appreciated.
