Margaret was born (1920), raised and lived her entire life in Woodslee. She was a devoted parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Woodslee and was actively involved in the Catholic Women’s league for over 60 years. She volunteered in the community canvassing for Right to Life, Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Prior to her illness she spent many hours visiting the sick and helping those in need. She enjoyed square dancing, golf and bowling. She was an avid bridge and scrabble player. Mom dedicated her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a source of unconditional love and support to us all. Her greatest pleasure was to be surrounded by her family and friends. Her motto was that there were no strangers in her home, only friends she hadn’t yet met. A heartfelt thank you to her dear friend and caregiver Joanne Mayzik whose loving care enabled Mom and Dad’s life long wish to remain in their home to come true. Further thanks to Comcare staff, especially Linda Malott, weekend care giver Rose Egbosimba, and the dedicated service of Nurse Lori Bachynski.
