Edna Christina Liesemer (nee Weber), of Harriston and formerly of Ayton passed away at Caressant Care, Harriston on Sunday, February 08, 2015.
She was 86.
Born in Normanby Township on November 15, 1928 to the late Herman and Emma (nee Weppler) Weber. Edna enjoyed gardening, knitting and sewing. She dedicated much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. Edna was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ayton, the E.L.W and the Ayton Women’s Institute. She will be remembered for her smile and willingness to help anyone who needed it.
Survived by loving children Bonnie Liesemer of Kitchener and Brian (Kathy) Liesemer of RR #2 Ayton, cherished grandchildren Salina, Chantel and Brady. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Steward (Joyce) Weber of Ayton and brother-in-law George Watson of Waterloo. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Clarence Liesemer, sisters Ethel Farrow and Inez Watson, brothers Otto, Louis and Earl Weber and special nephew Larry Weber.
Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church Ayton on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 11:30 am until the time of a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Pastor Dale Finch officiating. Spring Interment in Union Cemetery, Ayton. Arrangements entrusted to the Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
