Suddenly at his home in Rock Glen on Sunday, September 2, 2012, Ivan Levesque passed away at the age of 65. Ivan is survived by his wife Sheila, children; Mike (Doreen), Ann-Marie (special friend Chuck Robbins) and Amy Hickey, grandchildren; Holly, Daniel, Sara, Ryan and step-granddaughter Keri, Scott, Brandon, Dawson, Teagen and Braden and Jamie, great-grandchildren; Dandre and Brooklyn.  Also survived by his mother Germaine Landry, sister Yvette (Walter) Lavalee, mother-in-law Janet Cannon, sisters and brother- in-law; Diana (Ralph) Sevigny, Sharon (Gary) Richardson and Bernita Kordan, Darrell (Patty) Cannon and Debbie (Mel) Kongas.  He will be forever remembered by several nieces and nephews and his longtime childhood friend Roland Poirier.   Predeceased by his father Donat Levesque, brother Claude and father-in-law Louis Cannon. Ivan was a retired member of the Carpenter Local 1256, loved spending his time at the Country View Campground and was always willing to lend a hand. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held to celebrate Ivan’s life on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with cremation to follow.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to  the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Breast Cancer Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).  Memories and condolences may be sent online at http://smithfuneralhome.ca/
