“ He wasn’t a hero known by the world, but a hero he was to his little girls” Peacefully at his home, ALFRED ALLAN LeSAUVAGE passed away on November 8th, 2012 at the age of 64, after a short but courageous battle with Cancer. He will be deeply missed by “his girls” Bethany (Mike Walters), Carla (Len Dyke) and Shawna (Chris Hurst), grandchildren Austin, Morgan, Brooklyn and Zoe who he greatly adored. Also missing him, are Vonda Brakeman and family, along with his brother Roger (Vivienne) LeSauvage, Larry (Julie) LeSauvage, Jimmy LeSauvage and dear friends and extended family in Owen Sound.
The girls would like to thank his second family, friends and customers at Parklane for all their compassion and years of friendship as well as the Surgical team at University Hospital, Dr. John O’Mahony and staff, Bluewater Health & Bayshore for all of their care in Dad’s last months.
Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Annabelle, sisters Alva Palmer, Jessica LeSauvage and his brother Bev Almas. We will be honoring his wishes and there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place with a private family gathering to follow. Friends and family will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Monday, November 12, 2012 with visitation at 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Canada or to the Bluewater Health Foundation. “ It’s your turn to drive now, ride in peace Dad”
