LennoxLENNOX, Harvey – Peacefully at Chelsey Park Nursing Home on Monday, September 29, 2014 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Mrs. Donna (Stafford) Lennox. Loving father of Rob (Lesley) of Rigaud, QC, Rick (Libby) of London and Sue (George Zammit) of Mount Brydges. Dear grandfather of Shawn-Alexandre (Kristen), Sara-Ann (Tarik), R.J. (Michelle), Tammy (Gabe), Cassie (Adam), Billy, Danielle and Christie (Sandy). Survived by his brother-in-law Laurence “Staff” Stafford (Sheila) of London. Cherished friend of Marlies Buren of London. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Norris and Bud. Dad was a popular race car driver from the 1950’s through the 1970’s and he was most well known for his time behind the wheel of the famous “Tammy 10”. He was a proud inductee of the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame, London Sports Hall of Fame and Flamboro Speedway Hall of Fame. Mom and Dad enjoyed many wonderful adventures travelling in their converted coach (the Sunshine Bus) as well as their antique cars. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Harvey are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or a charity of your choice.
