LEMON, Donald Seldon Gibbons (Don), of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, June 21, 2012, in his 91st year.  Beloved husband of the late Doris (nee Sanderson) Lemon.  Loved father of Donald Lemon of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, and Dixie Lemon of St. Thomas.  Grandfather of Elspeth Lemon (Kameron), and Hilary Lemon, of New Brunswick.  Brother of Carol, Alabama, and Bonne, of Winnipeg, MB.  Don will be greatly missed by extended family, Nancy, Paul, Aaron, and Ryan Brown, of Fingal.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife, Don was predeceased by five brothers, James, Edward, Arthur, Karl, and Wilbur, and by four sisters, Mae, Alice, Marion, and Jean.  Born in Mair, SK, January 18, 1922, he was the son of the late James and Maud (nee Gibbons) Lemon.  Don was a retired Flight Sergeant with the RCAF.  He was a member of Central United Church, St. Thomas. Don was a founding member of the Golden K Kiwanis Club, St. Thomas, a member of  the St. Thomas Curling Club, and an avid golfer.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Interment will be made privately in Dresden Cemetery.  A public memorial service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Saturday, June 23rd at 1:30 p.m. (visitation one hour prior).  Flowers gratefully declined.  If so desired, memorial donations to Central United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario will be appreciated.
