LEMIEUX, YvetteThe family announces with sorrow, her passing in Sudbury, Friday, December 13, 2013 at the age of 82 years.  Daughter of the late Jules and of the late Laurenza (née Beaulieu) Prevost.   Beloved wife of Emile Lemieux of Sudbury.  Loving mother of Richard Lemieux (Danielle), Gaston Lemieux (Jeanine), Paul Lemieux (Jocelyne) of Monetville, Réjean Lemieux (Denise) and Roger Lemieux (Angèle) all of Alban and Daniel Lemieux (Aline) of Sudbury.  Dear sister of Aldege Prevost (late Yvette), Aimé  Prevost (Cécile), Dolores Gauthier (late Aimé), Marie-Rose Dupuis ( late Arnold), Angèle Lemieux (Gérard), Claire Prevost (Jacques), Lina Fallack (Paul), Don Prevost (Patricia) and Larry Prevost (Aline).  Predeceased by her brothers Hervé, Gilbert, Doris and Clément.  Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 15 great-grandchildren.  Born and raised in Noëlville, ON.  Yvette married Emile Lemieux  July 12, 1948 and resided in Alban until 1991, then moving to Sudbury where she has resided ever since.  A very accomplished musician, she enjoyed playing and accompanying her husband Emile in and around the Sudbury district.  Yvette enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening and also looked forward to spending her winters in Florida.   The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E., Sudbury, Wednesday morning, December 18, 2013 from 8:00 am until 9:30 am. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am in Ste Anne des Pins Church, Sudbury.  Donations (by cheque only) to the Canadian Cancer Society (Sudbury Chapter) would be appreciated.
