LEFEBVRE, RogerThe family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late Alexandre Lefebvre (late Florida Nadeau) and the late Albertine Sabourin. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Rita Lefebvre (née Gervais). Loving father of Lise Lefebvre (Mark Huras) of Hanmer, Daniel (Cathy) of Val Caron, Marc (Stephanie) of Sudbury, Julie Gémus (Claude) of Capreol and Paul (Michelle Bisson) of Midland. Dear brother of Marguerite Nykilchyk and Ernest (Fernande). Predeceased by his brothers Rhéal (Nancy), Gabriel (Irène). Step-brother of Yvonne and Emile. Predeceased by his step-sister Thérèse (Stuart). Cherished grandfather of Melanie (Cletus), Danielle (Steve), Eric (Nikita), Nicholas, Isabel, Max, Curtis, Marguerite, Amélia and special great-poppa of Tayden and Ellie. Lovingly remembered by his dear companion Yvette Quirion and her family Lynn, Kiana and Mikayla. Sadly missed by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews of both the Lefebvre and Gervais families, and many friends. Always loving and devoted to his family, Roger was also an active member of his community, involved in many local organizations such as the St. Vincent de Paul, Canadian Association for Mental Health, the Sudbury School Board and the Valley East Lions Club. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse.
