Beloved husband of 53 years of Elaine.  Loving father of Leslie (Roderick) McKinnon, Mike (Leanne) and Greg (Catherine).  Proud grandfather of Patrick, Claire, Grace, Joseph, Jude, James, Bryn, Lucas, Madison, Jacob and Olivia. Jim is also survived by sister, Patricia (Bob) Hardman and brother-in-law Bill Mandeville and predeceased by sister, Barbara. Dearly loved by the entire Saucier family and the extended Lathem family in the Ottawa Valley. Jim will forever be rememebed for his dedicated years in education as Principal of Continuing Education, as a teacher and football coach at St. Patrick’s High School.  He was a devoted member of the Catholic Community, a compassionate volunteer at the Inn of the Good Shepherd and at St. Joseph’s Hospice. As a Michigan State University alumni, he shared his Spartan pride with all who knew him. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5-8pm at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, Ontario.  A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014, 10am, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church followed by a lunch at the Smith Family Centre at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, Ontario. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or the Campaign Life Coalition.  Memories and Condolences may be sent on-line to:
