LANGLEY: Susan “Sue” of St. Thomas, ON

Langley (162x250)Langley, Susan “Sue” of St. Thomas, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at her late residence, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Langley (2011) and loved mother of Stephen Langley and his wife Lisa, Curtis Langley and his wife Andrea and Matthew Langley. Much loved grandmother of Scott, Zachary, Ethan and Liam. Dear sister of Stephen Wiener (Judy) and Joseph Wiener (Marion), all of St. Thomas. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Sue was born in St. Thomas on December 9th, 1941 the daughter of the late Frank and Jean (McNabb) Wiener. Sue was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario.  She was a retired teacher with the Elgin County Board of Education (Thames Valley). She was a long time board member with the Y.W.C.A. Sue enjoyed travelling the world with her husband Dick.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas for visitation Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday at 4:00pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Church on Saturday (Feb. 22nd) at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow, with private interment of ashes in Holy Angels’ Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the  Alzheimer Society of Elgin.
