It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beautiful, brave son Jordan Perry Landry on September 20, 2013. He was nine years old.
Born on the first day of summer and passed into eternity on the final day of summer, Jordan was a brilliant ray of sunshine who touched the hearts of many. His fun-loving, vibrant and sparkling personality made him friends wherever he went. Jordan loved hockey (especially the Chicago Blackhawks), The Wiggles, Imagine Dragons, being on stage and entertaining. He loved people and was deeply compassionate to the suffering of others. Jordan faced his lifelong battle with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome with incredible courage and grace. Jordan is forever in our hearts and we take solace in knowing that he is now with God.
Jordan is deeply mourned by his loving parents Nancy and Matthew (Matty) Landry and cherished sister Reegan of Dowling. He is grealty missed by his devoted Grandma Audrey Armstrong of Onaping and grandparents Linda and Mark Landry of Cartier, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to: Dr. Van Arsdell, Dr. Benson and Dr. Murray; Child Life Sick Kids and staff of 4D and CCU at the Hospital for Sick Children; A. Leboo and the TAILS cast; Ronald McDonald House in Toronto; our Costco family; our friends and the communities of Dowling and Sudbury.
In honor of his life, donations (by cheque only) may be made in Jordan’s name to Ronald McDonald House, Toronto. A Celebration of Jordan’s life will be held at the Dowling Community Centre, on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 1 p.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Chelmsford. www.beadonor.ca
