LALANDE, Ian Forcer – Peacefully, with his family at his side, on Monday, February 24, 2014, in his 77th year.  Ian was the beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Lalande (nee St. Denis) for 52 years.  Loving brother of Jacqueline Hartman, of Michigan, Paul and Baden Lalande, both of New Zealand, Celia South, of England, and the late Warick Lalande.  He will also be fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends worldwide.  Retired Electrician, CGE.  Faithful member of Campbellford Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Ian and Betty carried Bibles and educational material to their brothers in countries where Bibles were banned, as missionaries.  He was most proud of his missionary work in Portugal, Spain and Czechoslovakia.  A Memorial Service will be held at the KINGDOM HALL OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES (426 County Road 25, Campbellford), on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 2 pm.  If desired, directions to the service, condolences to the family, or donations to the Watchtower Society (JW.org) or the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Campbellford, may be made at www.AshburnhamVisitation.ca  or by calling COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, ASHBURNHAM CHAPEL at 705-740-0444.
