LABELLE, GeorgeThe family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the age of 71.  Son of the late Edouard and Adeline (née Legault) Labelle.  Beloved husband of Carmen Labelle (née Bissonnette) of Hanmer.  Loving father of Joanne Bélanger (Gilles) and Gisèle Labelle (Réjean Dubois) both of Hanmer and Georges Labelle Jr. (Annie Breton) of Timmins.  Dear brother of Lionel Labelle (Reina), Alma Vis (John) and Desneiges Mageau (late Guy) of Edmonton.  Predeceased by his sister Gabrielle Ménard (late Rhéal) and his brothers, Edgar (Florence of Sturgeon), Alexandre (Yvette of Hanmer), Raymond (Jeanne d’Arc of Blezard), Oscar (Agnès of Hanmer), Florian (Lise of Chelmsford) and Leonard (Georgette of Hanmer).  Proud grandfather of Danielle, Véronique, Benoit, Chantal, Céleste, Dominique and Eve.  George was a Knight of Columbus member, council 10602, Ste-Marguerite d’Youville, Val Thérèse and in scouting in his earlier days.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570, St-Joseph Street, Hanmer, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse.   In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to Maison Vale Hospice or the Health Sciences North Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated.
