Peacefully, with her family at her side, at Carveth Care Centre, Gananoque on Thursday February 28, 2013. Annie Tuinte of Elgin in her 89th year. Widow of Antony Klein Gunnewiek. Dear Mother of John (Joyce) Klein Gunnewiek, Tony (Leslie) Klein Gunnewiek all of Elgin, Cecilia (Leo) Miltenburg of Lucknow, Angela (Terry) Woods of Peterborough, Lowy (Kate) Klein Gunnewiek of Calgary and Margaret (John) Peco of Port Perry. Predeceased by brother, Hendrick Tuinte and by sisters, Henrica Tuinte and Sister Ursula (Marie) Tuinte all of Holland. Fondly remembered by 15 grandchildren. Predeceased by infant great-grandson, Nicholas Miltenburg.  Also survived by sister-in-law, Marie Tuinte as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the SCOTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Columbanus Church, Elgin on Monday morning 11 o’clock. Rite of Committal, St. Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Carveth Care Centre, Gananoque or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
