web_KIsch, HoldenIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our brave 12 year old warrior, Holden, on February 13, 2014 surrounded by his loving family, K6.  Cherished youngest son of Mike and Annie Kisch.  Beloved brother of Michael, Emma and Aubri, and his fur-brothers Rudy and Finn.  Dearest grandson of Mary Lou Craig, and Maria Kisch.  Proud nephew of Michelle Farrell, and Lisa and James Dowling.  He will be greatly missed by his cousins Mikaylla and Marissa, his best buddies Kaden, Mikey, Max, Ben, Logan, Devin and Ethan, and everyone at LaSalle Public School.  We take comfort in knowing Holden is taking Zeke for a walk by the Rainbow Bridge, going fishing with Papa Stan, making soup with Grandpa Louis, and eating junk food with Papa Mike.  Holden’s caring, laid back nature even during this terrible journey was an example to everyone whose lives he touched.  We will always remember his silly stories around the campfire, his great sense of humour, his love, big hugs and selfless generosity.  Special thanks to all our friends and family for their continued support and love for K6, and to the care Holden received from the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Windsor Regional Hospital, the Ornge Team, St. Elizabeth Nurses (Annie, Joanne, Cara and Frankie), and Hospice of Windsor (Dr. Sheri, Cheri and Brianne).  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southwestern Ontario or Camp Oochigeas would be appreciated by the family. Memorial visiting Monday 2-5, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday 2-5, 7-9 p.m. Memorial service to celebrate Holden’s life will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
