lily king 001KING, Mrs. Lily (nee Crump), of St. Thomas, passed away at her residence on Friday, April 25, 2014, in her 91st year.  Beloved wife of the late Ralph W. King (1997).  Dear mother of Wayne King (Sharon) of Brantford, Janet Niville (Frank) of Port Rowan, Brian King of St. Thomas, and John King (Stephanie) of Edmonton, AB.  Cherished grandmother of Suzanne Carrel (Bob), Trevor Niville, Tammy Brower (Jim), Amy King (Vince), Mandy Lytle-Brown (Chris), and Aaron, Ian, Jenny, Keith, and Christopher King. Loving sister of the late Elizabeth Crump, and the late George Crump (late Peggy).  Dear sister-in-law of Edith Hardie of Sarnia. Lily is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.   Born in London, England, December 10, 1923, she was the daughter of the late George and Lily (nee Avis) Crump.  Lily came to St. Thomas from England as a war bride in 1946. She was a member of St. John’s Anglican Church, St. Thomas. Friends will be received by the family at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Thursday, May 1st from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 20 Flora St., St. Thomas on Friday, May 2nd at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully acknowledged.
