KING, MR. DAVID GORDON

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, May 7, 2012 after four courageous battles with cancer at the age of 79.  Beloved husband of 59 years to Lois and father to sons William (Michele) of Amherstburg, Ontario, and Gerald (Barbara) of Canton, Michigan.  Loved Poppy of Jodie (Mitch), Rebecca, Stephanie and Samantha.  Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by siblings Marion (Reg) Martindale, Jeanne (Ross) Otterman, Louise (Ralph) Turnbull, Arthur (Sis) King and Robert (Marion) King.   David was a well known and respected contractor in the London, Ontario area prior to his retirement in 1986 as a partner with Norlon Builders.  After his retirement, David pursued his passion of restoring and showing antique cars and won many awards throughout North America for his efforts.
