Edwin KieltykaKIELTYKA, Edwin P., of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Mills) Kieltyka (Nov. 3, 2001). Dearly loved father of Donna Kieltyka (Lisa Gremonprez) of St. Thomas. Cherished grandfather of Chris Thomas (Ange) of St. Thomas, James Thomas of Sarnia, Rick Thomas of St. Thomas, and Taylor Robinson of St. Thomas. Dear brother of Albina Polgar of Toronto, Rose Gabriel of Victoria, BC, Anne Dinter of Saskatoon, SK, Zenon Kieltyka of Prudhomme, SK, late (infant) Anthony Kieltyka, and the late Micky Price. Also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Prudomme, SK, March 28, 1929, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Lena (nee Mazurkwich) Kieltyka. He came to St. Thomas from Prince Albert, SK in 1968. Ed was a retired employee of Clevite Ltd., St. Thomas. He was a member of Holy Angels’ Roman Catholic Church. Relatives and friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Thursday evening, November 26th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (Prayers at 6:45 p.m.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels’ Roman Catholic Church, 502 Talbot St., St. Thomas on Friday, November 27th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels’ Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be appreciated.
