Suddenly, on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at his home, Michael “Mick” Kane passed away at the age of 64. Survived by daughter Joanne Kennedy (Dean) and son Ryan Kane (Jess). Cherished grandfather of Laney, Seamus, Easton, River and a new baby on the way. Treasured brother of Barry (Christine), Patsy (Dick) and Sue of England. Survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles in the UK. Remembered by long time friends Brian and Eileen Kish of England and Joe Rutherford and Steve Vanderbeld of Sarnia. Predeceased by his father Patrick and mother May.  Mick was born on December 15, 1950 and immigrated to Canada in 1979 with his family. He worked at St. Clair Auto Repair for 20 years. Mick was an avid supporter of the English Football League. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Friday, February 13, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Noelle’s Gift (cheques only at the funeral home please).
