Orland Johnson, 78 years old passed away peacefully on April, 15 2017 at the Village of St. Clair in Windsor Ontario. Visitation will be April 18, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Families First Funeral Home, 1065 Lauzon Road Windsor Ontario. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on April 19, 2017 at Families First Funeral Home, with Pastor Bruce Leaman and Pastor Mark Cheverie officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1805 Hwy 3 Windsor Ontario.

Orland was born in Moncton New Brunswick to Guy and Nellie Johnson on October 25, 1938. He married Shirley Rabbie on April 20 1963 in Brockville Ontario. This month would have been their 54th wedding anniversary. Orland served as a missionary with the United Pentecostal Church in Cali and Cartagena Colombia and also in Iquitos Peru. As a pastor he pioneered churches in Middleton Nova Scotia, North Bay Ontario and pastered a church in Barrie Ontario and a Spanish church in Hamilton Ontario.

Orland is survived by his wife, Shirley Johnson, by his daughters Crystal (George) Mahan, Twyla (Chris) Warren and son Jonathan (Jennifer) Johnson, grandchildren, Andrew Mahan, Nathan (Jillian) Mahan, Alysha Johnson, Rylan Johnson, Shayla Johnson and Abigail Warren. Also survived by brothers Reginald (Joyce) Johnson, Allison (Barbara) Johnson, Carl (Lois) Johnson and sisters Nellie Livingston and Ethel ( Gary) Drake.
