JARBEAU, TheresaThe family announces with sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 at the age of 90 years.  Wife of the late Edgar Atanas Joseph Jarbeau (predeceased 2005).  Daughter of the late John and the late Cora (née Dislets) Hunter.  Beloved sister of Doreen Smorhay (late Walter) of Lively and Margaret McGovern (James) of Toronto.  Predeceased by four sisters and seven brothers.  Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and lovingly remembered by many grand-nieces, grand-nephews and God children.  Born in Sudbury, Theresa moved to Webbwood at the age of four years, where she resided until 1948.  She then moved to Espanola where she lived until 1962 before purchasing her new home in McKerrow.  She married Edgar Jarbeau on April 7th, 1947 in Webbwood. Mrs Jarbeau served as a book keeper and in sales with Singer Sewing Centre, thence with Goodman’s Department Store in Espanola and later as the book keeper with the Espanola Legion and the Kelly Lumber Company.  Theresa enjoyed sewing, gardening as well as the outdoors.  A faithful member of her faith, formerly attending St-Pius X Church in Lively and Christ the King, she was also a member of the Catholic Women’s League in Espanola and Lively.  In keeping with Theresa’s wishes, there will be no visitation.  A graveside service will take place on Friday, June 7th, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Webbwood R.C. Cemetery, Webbwood.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
