INNIS – Peacefully at Woodstock Private Hospital, on Sunday December 21, 2014, with her family at her side, Margaret Mary Isabell Innis (nee Scott) of Woodstock, Ontario formerly of Bartibogue Bridge, New Brunswick in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Archibald and Maria Scott. Beloved wife of the late Cloran Innis (1991). She was predeceased by her son David Innis (2010) and brothers; Archie, William, Alvin and her sisters; Lillian, Gertrude, Genievie, Evelyn and Marie. Loving mother of Bernie Innis (Hilda), Keith Innis (Sharon), Leigh Innis (Ann), Paul Innis (Deb), Brian Innis (Susan), John Innis (Chris), Carol Young (Rick) and Dale Innis (Michelle). Sadly missed by her 19 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Dear sister-in-law of Ann Scott and Rhoda Savage both of Lower Newcastle, New Brunswick and Kathleen Cameron of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dedicated to her faith, she was a lifetime member of St. Anne’s Altar Society and over 50 year member of Holy Trinity Catholic Women’s League. A devoted mother and grandmother, her family was the center of her world. Extraordinarily selfless and strong, she was an amazing woman who touched many lives and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Friends will be received on Monday December 29, 2014 at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. North, Woodstock for visitation from 2-4 &7-9pm. Parish Prayers will be said at 4pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 1pm with Father Rick Dales as celebrant. The summer of 2015, Margaret Innis will finish her journey home at her final resting place of St. Peter and St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Bartibogue, New Brunswick.
