HUNTER, Shirley Eileen Peacefully, with her family by her side at Victoria Hospital, London on Sunday, July 1, 2012 Shirley Hunter in her 90th year after a brave battle with plasma cell leukemia. Beloved wife of the late Roy Hunter (1987). Cherished mother of Carol Hunter of London and Roy Hunter (Dianne) of Barrie. Much loved grandma of Geoffrey Hunter of Fort McMurray and Matthew Hunter of Barrie. Dear aunt of Ted and David Hunter and Susan Smith. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Verna and Yvonne Hunter and Marie Muckleston. Shirley will also be sadly missed by her many friends. Predeceased by her brother Robert Muckleston. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 2-4 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where a memorial service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00 am (one hour prior visitation) with Reverend Kenji Marui and Reverend Gordon Duncan of Calvary United Church officiating. Private family inurnment in Woodland Cemetery, London.
