Hunt: Opal (Webster), is now at rest after a long fight with cancer, she passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the age of 89. Opal was retired from the Wallaceburg Post office where she worked as a rural mail carrier for 8 years. She was the first wife of the late Donald “Dean” Hunt. Opal leaves behind a daughter Sharon (nee Hunt) and Richard Sager of Chatham; a son Larry Hunt, Calvin Webster and Ann- Marie Meloche of Wallaceburg, Virginia and Steve Racz of Charlemont; a brother-in-law Ernest Hunt of Wallaceburg; grandchildren Greg Sager and Robbin McDonnell of London, Wendy Sager of Windsor, Becky and Ryan Haney of Mississauga, Jim Hunt and Christine Beauvais of Chatham, Jessica Webster of Calgary, Anna Duquette-Webster, Kristina Meloche of Wallaceburg ; great-grandchild Ethan Brooks of London; niece Emily and John O’Keefe of LaSalle and many other nieces and nephews. The Hunt family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 12:30pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:30pm. Interment Dresden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the CIBC run for the cure would be appreciated by the family and can be made at the funeral home by cheque or directly at (participant Wendy Sager).
