At C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia on Sunday, April 14, 2013.  FRED HUNGLER, 77 years, of Petrolia and formerly of Oil Springs.  Fred was the loving husband of the late Gudrun (nee Koester)(2003).  He will be missed by his daughter Heidi and Mark Storey of Petrolia and his son Gary Hungler and Michelle Bentley of Sarnia, his grandchildren Jill and Jeff Swartz, Ryan and Annie Smith, Joseph Hungler, and Daniel Hungler, and his great grandchildren Aidan, Emily, Rylie, Syerra, Makayla, and Avery.   Fred is the brother Walter Hungler and the late Bertha Hebrang.  He will also be missed by his brother and sister-in-laws Helga (the late Heinz) Hoffmueller, Vera Buhlman, Karen (the late Albert) Baur, Sabina and Wally Brown, and the late Inge Koester.  Fred was born in Yugoslavia, arrived in Lambton County as a teenager and spent almost his entire life farming on 80 highway near Oil City.  Visitors will be received on  Tuesday from 3 to 5    and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 1:30.  Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery.   Allan McKeown officiating.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial Donations may be made by cheque to the C.E.E.
