Hollingsworth, James (Jim) – Passed away at the I.O.O.F. Home, Barrie, Ont. on
Friday, November 1, 2013. Jim, a former teacher at St. Lawrence College in Cornwall is survived by his beloved wife Frances (Shaw). Dear father of Judith Hughes of Ottawa and James Hollingsworth of Cornwall. Grandfather to Michelle, Carley, Jessica and Devon. He was predeceased by brothers Rex, Neil, and Robert (Bob) Hollingsworth and by sisters Daphne Hollister, Dorothy Aldred, Hazel Laperle and Shirley Rombough. Jim is survived by his sister Dawn Raymond (Clair) of Morrisburg, Ont. and by his brothers William (Bill) (Leila) of Cornwall and Jack (Sheila) of New Jersey. A special thank you to all the nurses and the wonderfully competent, dedicated and loving care givers who tended to Jim during his residency at the I.O.O.F. Home. A celebration of life will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 9 Granville St., Barrie on Sunday, November 17 at 2:00pm with visitation in the church hall from 1:oopm until time of service. A memorial service for family and friends will be held for Jim at a future date in the springtime in Cornwall. Memorial donations may be made to the I.O.O.F.
