Lorraine Hodder-Nesbitt, passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus on Saturday, December 28, 2013. She was 78.
Born in Chesley, Ontario on December 7, 1935 to Harry and Elizabeth (nee Weppler) Karn. Lorraine was a Supervisor for Maple Leaf Farms and Proprietor at Cozy Corner Restaurant in Elora.
Survived by sons Gary (Margaret) Hodder of Camrose, Alberta, Rod (Doreen) Hodder of R#1 Arthur, Brad (Rebecca) Hodder and Greg (Aileen) Hodder both of Fergus. Loved by adoring grandchildren Jeremy (Candace), Jeffrey, Darryl (Sherri), Jodi (Steve), Kyle (Chloe), Kristie-Ann, Brent, Ryan, Melissa, Colin and great grandchildren Brayden, Katelynn, Darcey, Evan, Kaylee, Dylan, Drew, Marissa, Kayla and Cora.
Fondly remembered by her brothers Harold (Vi) Karn, Dean (Betty) Karn, Lawrence (Ruth) Karn and a sister Beatrice Hatten. Predeceased by her first husband Robert Hodder and her second husband Lionel Nesbitt, brothers Alvin, Gordon, Wilmer, sisters Alvena Kuhl, Luella Kuhl, Viola Jackson and Doretta Phillips.
Visitation was held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday from 6-8 pm where a Funeral Service was held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11:00 am. Rev. Alice Wilson officiated. Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover.
Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association, Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Sick Kids Hospital- Toronto were appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Register book available at http://firstname.lastname@example.org
