0HINKS nee Blommaert: Nellie Johanna, age 75 of Dresden passed away Wednesday December 31, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Hulst, Netherlands, daughter of the late Louis and Irma (VanDamme) Blommaert. Survived by daughters Jennifer Cartier (Al) of Dresden and Julie Hinks-North (Rick Zimmer) of Dresden, Denise Cassan (Pete Gilbert) of Windsor, son Jeff Hinks (Michelle) of Kitchener, five grandchildren Aaron, Dylan, Cameron, Krystal and Gary, one great-granchild Morgan, two brothers Tom Blommaert of Dresden and Richard Blommaert of Sarnia. Also survived by many caring family members and friends.Predeceased by brothers Henny and William Blommaert, sister Emmy Ide and infant sister Anna. Nellie dedicated many years of service to the Dresden Legion as Bar Steward and had a wonderful passion for animals and gardening.  Cremation has taken place at Ressurection Crematorium and Cemetery Sarnia.
