Passed away peacefully on October 22, 2014 at the age of 65. Hero and loving husband of Pat for 42 years. Treasured dad of Matt, Rusty and wife Jessica, and Kyle. Proud grandpa of Felicia, Jake, Ben, Riley, Josh, and Emily. Adored son-in-law of Mary Dubs. Dear brother of Brian (Pam) and Bobby (Debbie), and brother-in-law of Wayne (Jamie). Devoted friend of Glen (Ev) Pepper. Al was a founding member of the Sunparlour Woodcarvers Club and spun his love for carving into chainsaw art. He generously helped local charities raise money by donating his chainsaw carvings to them; many will remember him as the guy on Cabana Road. Al was retired from Ford Motor Company and a proud member of CAW Local 200. If you so desire, donations to Al’s favourite two charities: W.E. Care for Kids or Wounded Warriors would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation Sunday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Share memories, photos or make a donation at
